Welcome back, it’s Cyber Monday. Please allow me to guide your online consumerism. In the past, my holiday gift issue has unintentionally served as a personal wish list and garnered me the things I truly wanted on Christmas morning. Each item has been carefully researched and thought out by me. Most of them I have owned and would like to own again.
We’ll start with things that smells nice. These are my favorite perfumes, I get them from Sephora - Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Leila Lou By Rosie Jane, and Glossier You Eau de Parfum. This Palo Santo Cologne by Cremo is my favorite knock-off of Le Labo. These are my favorite candles (I usually buy all of these from a local shop but they are also all available online) - Tatine Forest Floor, Tatine Flowers On The Hillside, Maison Louis Marie No.12, Voluspa Moso Bamboo, Voluspa Suede Blanc.
Onto comfy stuff - you have not known warmth and comfort until you have been underneath a Pendleton blanket. That’s just the truth. Buy one for yourself and everyone you love. You won’t be sorry. Another great blanket that I recommend is the Velvet Loft Throw by Berkshire Blanket & Home. It’s affordable and amazing. I’ve had one on my couch for years. L.L. Bean makes the best slippers. I, personally, would like ten pairs of Darn Tough or Smartwool socks. My feet are cold ALL THE TIME. Obviously, you’d want a nice robe to go along with your slippers and socks. I have recently indulged in more than one sweatsuit from American Eagle. If you want to stay warm and look adorable, you want a fleece from Patagonia.
Kitchen things - two years ago I got this Dutch Oven from Great Jones then last year I got this cast iron. These items have been invaluable additions to my kitchen. I love them. They’re beautiful and they make a great unwrapping presentation. I also own a couple sheet trays from Great Jones. I have been gagging over this Bistro Collection from Anthropology, every piece is so beautiful. One of my besties gifted me this knife for my birthday and I love it a lot. If you’ve ever thought about gifting a bag of nice beans check out Rancho Gordo (I’m a member of their bean club).
As I’m sure you can deduce, all I really care about is smelling good, being warm and cozy, and cooking. I would also like to give an honorable mention to the game Wingspan which I have fallen head over heels in love with this year. It is incredibly beautiful and has expansion packs for future gifting opportunities. While we’re on the subject of gaming, I also recommend Mario Wonder for Nintendo Switch. It’s taken up all of my free time for the last month. I hope this issue finds you well and provides you with some help or laughter.
Happy Holidays and best of luck to you,
I love you.
